چکیده
In this paper, a new species of the Cystoseira complex from Porto Palo di Capo Passero (Sicily, Italy) is described. The species, which shows same characters as hyblaea Giaccone described by (1986) and Bouafif et al. (2016), its morpho-anatomical characters, assigned to genus Ericaria Stackhouse. Because “Cystoseira hyblaea” was not validly published name, giacconei sp. nov. here main characteristics are: 1) caespitose habit; 2) large axes rugged with apices smooth, prominent; 3) vegetative branches without spinose appendages; 4) primary cupressoid outline, especially when they are fertile; 5) receptacles terminal, compact, cylindrical-oval, verrucose, deciduous appendages. related both E. crinita (Duby) Molinari & Guiry barbatula (Kützing) Guiry, but it differs them mainly in basal system consisting robust compact disc apex cauloids smooth prominent, never surrounded spiniform A critical re-examination herbarium specimens Isola delle Correnti (eastern Sicily, attributed (as C. crinita) demonstrated that actually belong our species.

MRS Shimming: An Important Point Which Should not be Ignored
Introduction: Proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is a well-known device for analyzing the biological fluids metabolically. Obtaining accurate and reliable information via MRS needs a homogeneous magnetic field in order to provide well-defined peaks and uniform water suppression. There are lots of reasons which can disturb the magnetic field homogeneity which can be corrected by a proc...

متن کاملIsolates of 'Candidatus Nostocoida limicola' Blackall et al. 2000 should be described as three novel species of the genus Tetrasphaera, as Tetrasphaera jenkinsii sp. nov., Tetrasphaera vanveenii sp. nov. and Tetrasphaera veronensis sp. nov.
Despite differences in their morphologies, comparative analyses of 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed high levels of similarity (>94 %) between strains of the filamentous bacterium 'Candidatus Nostocoida limicola' and the cocci Tetrasphaera australiensis and Tetrasphaera japonica and the rod Tetrasphaera elongata, all isolated from activated sludge. These sequence data and their chemotaxonomic ch...
